This case was suggested to us by Ali and I think we should really explore it further. Perhaps we could even contact Martin Rosenbaum for comment about his blog.  When I tried to read the FOI pages on the BBC site, it was extremely confusing. I don’t think it is really clear how they are affected by the FOI Act. There is also a real grey area surrounding public interest.Who decides when a report is in public interest? And what happens when this is disputed?

  1. I’m thinking it would be extremely helpful to attend one of these seminars/workshop. I am currently looking into finances and times. It would be cutting it very short but may give us a more useful insight into the was FOI is used and run.

  2. I think I will explore how the FOI act has allowed the BBC and other media bodies to be regulated. I will use the BBC v Sugar story as a case study.
